Jaya had special bond with Hyderabad

Till recent years, the actor-turned-politician used to visit the city frequently so much so that a room was permanently booked for her in a five-star hotel in the posh Banjara Hills area. She later took an independent house on rent in West Marredpally in Secunderabad for stay during her visits and from there she used to drive to her sprawling farm house in Jeedimetla village on Secunder-abad outskirts which she bought decades ago, before she ventured into politics. Jayalalithaa also owned a grape garden near her farm house both of which are located near the now busy Medchal road and passers-by nearing the spot point to the properties and tell their companions that the farm house and the JJ grape garden are owned by the AIADMK Supremo.
