Search operation launched in south Kashmir woods
A massive search operation has been launched in the woods in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, where some firing shots were heard this morning, official sources said.

They said security forces and state police launched a joint search operation in the woods at Dantiwan Satoor forest in Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama early this morning.
When the forest area was being sealed, some firing shots were heard, they said adding there could be two to three militants hiding in the woods.
Additional security forces have been rushed to the spot and entire areas is being sealed to foil any attempt by the militants to escape.
