Major administrative reshuffle after formation of NDA government in Bihar

According to a notification of General Administration Department, 20 IAS officers including seven DMs were transferred last night while as many were given additional charge.

Two days after full cabinet of Nitish Kumar government was sworn in, a major administrative reshuffle has been effected with transfer of twenty IAS officers including seven District Magistrates (DMs).

According to a notification of General Administration Department,  twenty IAS officers including seven DMs were transferred last night while as many were given additional charge.

Lokesh Kumar Singh, DM West Champaran has been made Executive Director, Bihar State Health Society. with additional charge of Special Secretary (Health). Anupam Kumar, DM, East Champaran  has been posted as Transport Commissioner with additional charge of Director PRD.

Similarly, Virendra Prasad Yadav, DM, Bhojpur has been made Special Secretary, Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department. Manoj Kumar, DM Nawada  has been shifted to Education Department as Aditional Secretary. Raman Kumar DM Buxar has been shifted to East Champaran in same capacity.

Deor Nilesh Ramchandra, DM Banka has been made new DM of West Champaran.

Sunil Kumar DM, Lakhisarai has been posted as Additional Secretary cum Director, Social Security in Social Welfare Department.

Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal Additional Secretary (CM Secretariate) has been shifted to Rural Development Departmnet in same capacity.Similarly, Manish Kumar, Additional Secretary (Education)  has been shifted to Information Technology Deparment in the same capacity.

Saket Kumar Director, Handloom has been given additional charge of Additional Secretary (Building Construction) Additional. Avaneesh Kumar Singh, Municipal Commissioner, Bhagalpur has been made new Lakhisarai DM.
