Life returns to normal in Kashmir's Pulwama
Life returned to normal after remaining crippled for two days in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, where people observed spontaneous strike against the killing of a top district commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in a brief encounter with security forces on Wednesday.

Shops and business establishments reopened and traffic was plying on all routes normally today in Pulwama, where work in government offices and banks was normal.
Meanwhile, cellular and mobile internet services have been restored after remaining suspended since Wednesday evening in entire Pulwama, where class work in all educational institutes, including government and private schools, have resumed.
The train service has also resumed after remaining suspended for two days due to security reasons in south Kashmir. Train service was suspended on Srinagar-Anantnag Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region track after a top district commander of LeT Ayoub Lalihari was killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama on August 16, leading to massive protests in the south Kashmir.
