Hectic schedule awaits Shivraj Chauhan in his US visit
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who is scheduled to arrive late on Sunday in Washington for a week long visit, will have a hectic schedule awaiting him.

According to information available, the highlights of his official visit includes his meetings with Tulsi Gabbard, the first Hindu member of the US Congress, and Nisha Biswal, a former Obama administration official and currently chairwoman of the US-India Business Council.
There will at least be two keynote addresses by Mr Chauhan, who visited the United States in February 2015, and an interactive session with the Friends of MP, a conclave he inaugurated during the previous visit.
Later on Sunday, shortly after his arrival in the US capital, the CM will have an interaction with the Indian-American community followed by a dinner meeting hosted by Ambassador Navtej Sarna.
He will deliver on Monday one of his keynote addresses at the inauguration of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Forum at the US Senate. The sessions with Ms Gabbard and Ms Biswal will be held in the evening.
On Tuesday, there will be a conference, being organised by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum and the Confederation of Indian Industry, aimed at promoting investment in the central state. The scene will shift to New York later in the evening, after Chauhan's visit to the Akshardham temple in New Jersey.
A luncheon is set with business leaders on Wednesday at which New York Consul General Sandeep Chakravorty will speak. A presentation will be made by Mohammed Suleman principal secretary for commerce, industries and employment in the Madhya Pradesh government.
The CM will pay a visit to the Incubation Center at Columbia University and the program for the day will end with a dinner.
On Thursday, the VVIP's program includes sessions with Harsh Gupta, a managing director at Goldman Sachs; and Purnendu Chatterjee, chairman of Haldia Petrochemicals.
The day will end with a dinner meeting with Friends of MP at the consulate.
Several one-on-one meetings and other sessions are scheduled for Friday. The CM is to fly back to Mumbai on Saturday.
