Woman threatened with knife during attempted rape
A woman was attacked by two men who held a knife to her throat and attempted to rape her in New Mandi area in Muzaffarnagar district, police said.

The incident happened when the woman, 30, was returning home, according to a police complaint filed by her.
The two men fled when she resisted their attempt and raised an alarm.
The police said a case has been registered against the two men, who have been absconding since the incident yesterday.
