Car catches fire at Ring road, no one injured

A call was received around 22:15 hours regarding the incident after which two fire tenders were immediately pressed into service. However, no one was injured in the incident, the fire official said.

The fire was doused off in around 25 minutes, according to the Fire department official and the reason of the fire is said to be some short circuit in the vehicle's wiring.

Local police was also present on the spot and helped in managing traffic on the busy road, while the fire department did its job.
