Girls sustain burn injuries in acid attack
Two girl students sustained burn injuries when two motorcycle-borne youths threw acid on them at this district's Gadasarai, police said.

Shashi (17) and Nagesh (17) were on their way to appear in examination when the two culprits threw acid on them yesterday. The injured girls were rushed to hospital.
On the basis of their statement, police detained one person for interrogation. One another accused is still at large.
