The Chief Minister on Saturday told a press conference that he had written to Bedi, stating that he is ready to cooperate with her, provided she functions within the frame work of the guidelines.

Reacting to this, Bedi said that she has returned the letter in original to the Chief Minister, as it was considered highly ‘impolite’, written to a constitutional office.

The Chief Minister has been rude even earlier in several of his letters, she said, adding that however, it has now become a pattern.

She expressed hope that the Chief Minister will realise that writing such rude letters do not enhance the dignity of a responsible office, such as of the stature of a Chief Minister.
