4 held for murder of AINRC man

During investigation, Muthialpet police found about the involvement of Manikandan, Vikky, Mani and Ganesh and others in the crime. According to police, Prabhu and one Tamizh were arrested on August 16 and a motorcycle, mobile phone and sickle used for the murder was seized from them. 

After interrogating them, police confirmed the previous enmity between them and Nagarajan, which further worsened during a temple festival in their area. Following this, police also arrested Manikandan and Vikky on Friday. Police are on the lookout for others involved.

It may be noted that when Nagarajan took his children for tuition, the gang intercepted his motorcycle and hacked him. Nagarajan ran back into his house. However, the gang entered his house, dragged him out and hacked him. He was admitted to the Government General Hospital where he succumbed to the injuries. Further investigation is on.
