Talking to news persons here, Saminathan termed the Narayanasamygovernment, a total “failure”. He said, the BJP would organize agitations at 10 places to condemn the two-and-a-half year regime of the Congress government.
Saminathan stated that for the people here, the government could not set up Deepavali bazaars and hence it was a ‘dark Deepavali’ for them. The government is unable to fulfil any of the promises and it also failed to hold local body elections, he charged.
The BJP leader alleged that Narayanasamy is taking steps to satisfy the Congress functionaries by appointing them as chairpersons for corporations in the wake of 2019 Lok Sabha election.
He said that the BJP unit here has requested the Union Home Ministry to not appoint anyone as chairpersons for boards and corporations and a letter in this regard would be sent today.
He said, the BJP high command is taking all the steps to ensure a massive victory for the party in the Lok Sabha election and claimed that if Narendra Modi is elected once again as the Prime Minister, it would be the last political tenure for Narayanasamy. There is no possibility for Rahul Gandhi to become the Prime Minister, he said.
The BJP would strive hard to ensure that the Congress party loses itsdeposit in the Thattanchavady by-election which would be held shortly, Saminathan said.
