Centre commemorates 77th year of Azad Hind Govt formation
The legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the files on whom were earlier declassified by the Narendra Modi government, continues to remain the Centre's focus. On Wednesday, at Delhi's Red Fort, the union government commemorated the '77th Year of Formation of Azad Hind Government'.

Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel, who attended the event, congratulated the nation on the "proud occasion".
The Minister said that next year the nation will celebrate the 75th anniversary of freedom and the year will also mark the 125th birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose.
"The young generation of our country needs to learn from the supreme sacrifice and leadership of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose," said Patel. He added that the Prime Minister is taking this journey ahead with zeal and confidence.
The commemoration of this historical event was also attended by INA veterans Naik Lalti Ramji, Sipahi Parmanand Yadav along with Major General (retired) GD Bakshi, Director INA Trust - Brigadier Chikara and Chandra Kumar Bose, the grandnephew of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
