Body of worker who died in Chennai sent to West Bengal

CHENNAI: The body of the guest worker, who died at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH) due to renal failure, was sent to West Bengal on Wednesday. Meanwhile, another worker is under treatment and his health conditions are stable, said hospital sources.

The hospital authorities said Sathya Pandit (42) is undergoing dialysis and remains in observation. The other workers returned to their native last week after being sheltered at the Corporation home for a few days.
The workers had come to Chennai as a group of 12 in search of agricultural work but did not find any jobs here.
