Chennai Corporation issues helpline numbers for rain-related complaints and rescue

CHENNAI: In the light of heavy rainfall, the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has issued helpline number 1913 to report rain-related complaints and request rescue operations.

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai has issued a red alert for October 16, predicting rainfall of 204 mm or more.
