A footage of a man drinking while driving on the Chennai suburban area has gone viral on social media causing commotion among the viewers.

CHENNAI: The police are on the lookout for a man who was drinking while driving a car on the Medavakkam flyover on Thursday.
The efforts to identify the youngster with the help of CCTV footage comes after a video of him was widely circulated on social media.
On Thursday midnight, some commuters who were travelling by bus noticed a young man consuming liquor while driving with one hand and recorded the act on their camera phones. The video was soon trending on social media.
Several sections of the public demanded police action against the man, citing such behaviour can lead to fatal accidents.
The Tambaram traffic police are investigating whether it was real footage and whether it was recorded on Thursday. They are also trying to identify the car owner with the help of CCTV footage.
