Rowdy, college students barge into advocate's office in Anna Nagar; 8 arrested
The gang threatened another advocate who was there and ordered him to make sure the senior lawyer speaks to their leader

CHENNAI: Chennai city police detained eight people, including college students, for allegedly trespassing into an advocate's office in Anna Nagar and threatening the staff there.
Police sources said the advocate, Vijayakumar (35) of Koyambedu, has his office in Anna Nagar West. On Thursday, a gang led by history sheeter Vicky barged into the office and threatened another advocate, Karthik, who was there. They threatened Karthik, handed over a mobile phone and asked him to speak to their boss who was on the other end of the line. At the other end of the call was Sethupathi, another history sheeter, who directed Karthik to make sure that Vijayakumar speaks with him.
Meanwhile, the police were tipped off about the incident after which a team from Anna Nagar police immediately reached the scene and nabbed Vicky and his accomplices. Police said that some of them were college students, while Vicky is a 'C' category rowdy who has several cases against him. Further investigations are on.
