First the India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor...It will be the most direct connection to date between India, the Arabian Gulf and Europe...This is also the spirit of the second project we announce today the Trans African Corridor..."

G-20 in India: EAM Dr S Jaishankar says, "With regard to the comparison with the Bali Declaration, I would only say Bali was Bali and New Delhi is New Delhi. I mean, Bali was a year ago. The situation was different. Many things have happened since then. If you see in geo-political segment of the leader's declaration, there are, in totality eight paragraphs, seven of which actually focus on the Ukraine issue... So I think one should not have a theological view of this. I think the New Delhi Declaration responds to the situation and concerns as it is today, just as the Bali Declaration did in a situation which was there."

On New Delhi G-20 Leaders' Summit Declaration France Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire says, "There is a consensus and it is a great success for India's G 20 Presidency."

French President Emmanuel Macron says, " I just want to thank Prime Minister Modi for organizing this meeting and President Biden for sharing this meeting with him... And this is a very important project from Asia through Middle East to Europe to offer big opportunities and connect people. But our intention is as well to make it real and to be sure that after this commitment we have concrete results and especially to have the first global green trade road meaning having net zero transport infrastructure..."
