CHENNAI: In Day 2 of the IPL Mega Auction 2025, a 13-year-old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, became the youngest ever player to be sold at an IPL Auction. He was brought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.1 crore. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for Rs 10.75 crore. The Indian pacer is the biggest buy of today.Deepak Chahar, former Chennai player, will now play for the RCB's rival team Mumbai Indians (MI) for Rs 9.25 crore. Mumbai also made an absolute steal by buying another CSK player Mitchell Santner at the base price of Rs 2 crore.Other big buys so far are Akash Deep for Rs 8 crore to Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Tushar Deshpande for Rs 6.50 crore to Rajasthan Royals (RR).In addition to this, South Africa all-rounder Marco Jansen has been the most expensive buy so far for Punjab Kings at Rs 7 crore. The RCB also went hard for Krunal Pandya and brought him for 5.75 crore. Sam Curran on the other hand returned to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for 2.40 crore.
