College student injured in group clash at Chennai Central Suburban station

CHENNAI: A college student was injured during a clash between college students in Chennai Central suburban station.

The injured was identified as Sundar, an undergraduate political science student of Presidency college.

Police suspect he was attacked by students of another college in the city.

Sundar was punched on his face and had bleeding.

He fell unconscious and Railway Protection Force (RPF) rushed him to the emergency centre in the station and was later shifted to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH).
