CHENNAI: Ahead of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) state conference, party officials are actively working on identifying an additional parking area, which could range from 25 to 50 acres.
Vijay-led TVK's first-ever state conference is set to take place on October 27 at V Salai village, near Vikravandi.
According to a Maalaimalar report, four extensive parking areas have already been designated for 27 acres, 6.5 acres, 3.5 acres, and 3 acres.
Party officials are also working to identify an additional parking area, potentially ranging from 25 to 50 acres.
The chosen venue spans approximately 85 acres, and reports indicate that over 5 lakhs attendees are expected.
In response, efforts are intensifying to establish essential facilities, including drinking water, electricity, and food stalls.
Electricity facilities have been arranged for 3,000 locations, and all electrical needs will be met through generators.
To ensure the safety of people at the event, a barrier wall has been erected near the conference site, adjacent to the railway tracks, and nearby wells have been secured with iron covers.
In total, 27 teams have been formed to handle various tasks, including security, hospitality, food service, and parking arrangements.
In addition to police protection, a private security team from Dubai has also been called in.
TVK President Vijay has been emphasizing officials to to complete all safety preparations to avoid any mishaps on the day of the conference.
The party General Secretary Bussy Anand has been personally overseeing the arrangements for the event directly from the site.
