Mirabai Chanu successfully lifts 88kg in her third and final snatch attempt
Men's Triple Jump
Praveen Chithravel registers a distance of 16.21m in his third and final jump. Abdulla Aboobacker registers a 16.49m jump. They are positioned 26th and 21st overall.

Mirabai Chanu was clinical in her first snatch attempt of 85kg as she easily lifted and move into joint lead in snatch with Piron Candelario.

Praveen Chithravel improved, but much as he put in a 16.25m and Abdulla Aboobacker registered 16.19m
