Don’t try to predict your future, instead create it

Predicting the future is a sin: The highest sin is predicting your future. The reason why it is sin is because the process of predicting the future does not just lead to negative thinking. One can be conscious of negative thinking and can cut it down. But by predicting the future, one lands up with excessive negative thinking, because you have given the control of your life to something that is not part of you. Once you predict your future, even if you have the ability, your mind decides to go through suffering.

Nothing in this world, not a single atom can exist without the presence of divine power; hence it is said, ‘Sarvam Sivamayam’. When that ultimate power already exists within you, trying to find the future through something outside of you, thinking your life is not under your control but something outside of you is controlling your life isn’t a mistake, it is sin. 

People believe in God, but belief is a concept. And because they believe, they are not able to accept God. Since they do not accept God, they go in search of something outside of themselves that can create a good future for them, assuming they do not have a good future. 

You create your future: What is important is ‘creating the future’ not ‘determining the future’ because your life is not predetermined, you create your future. This is the very fundamental essence of human existence; and if not understood, all knowledge and skill one possesses will bring no positive difference to life. Because one can acquire, knowledge, talent, skill and material possessions with their effort, but having these, is he sure to get the experience he wants to? Not possible. 

People want to find out, ‘Will I have the experience I want in the future’? This they call ‘destiny’. They want to know their destiny. Or they have already decided ‘My destiny is not good’ or ‘I am destined to live with problems or health issues or poor financial condition’. 

A person may not know how his future will be, but by predicting it, he now has the knowledge that ‘this is what will happen in future, this is my destiny’.

But the highest truth is that you can change your destiny. 

Creating the life you want: The only way to create the life you want to live is by overcoming the fear about the future. 

You cannot be the best companion to others and others cannot be the best companion to you at all times. However, you can make yourself the best companion to the companion who is within you all the time. That is God within you. So give up the sin of predicting your future. Get into the process of prosperity. Create your future! 

For that one must first stop this sin, because you cannot create your future on one side and predict it on the other. This means you don’t believe what you have created will happen. 

It is true that a person’s life is determined by their past karma, however karma is changeable! And that is the reason I say destiny is changeable! 

One might never know when and what will happen in the name of karma.You don’t know what will happen in the future, of course you don’t. However when you get into the process of creating your future, you may not know exactly what will happen, but you will know one thing, that good things have to happen, and good things alone will happen. 

This is where the process of meditation or Atma-Dhyana comes in. It is the science of creating your own life. It is the process of self-transformation where nobody else is involved. It is between you and God. You directly communicate with the divine, you are in contact with the power within you. Because the God within you is the only God for you and also the God for everything outside of you.

Meditation or Atma-Dhyana is the only source by which you realise your power and there you get all the power to change your karma by which you can change your destiny.Now you create what you want with clarity, not with confusion. Earlier you knew what you wanted but also feared your astrological chart, your past karma or past experiences in life. Chuck this all away. 

The real principle of being with God is not to surrender but to enjoy God, out of love and pure understanding. You don’t need to worry or fear anything. Remember, till you have life, you can have all you want in life!
