Real solution to handle stress lies within you
We human beings have different perceptions and belief systems but that which does not change for anybody is called ‘nature’. Science calls it ‘fact’ and in spiritually it is called ‘faith’. It is that which will never change for anybody and that which can never be changed by anybody.

The real enemy of health: The highest understanding of spirituality is knowing that every creation is God’s creation and it remains the same for everyone and forever. This is the beauty of nature.
Why are we discussing this? Because it is high time we take effective measures that will show results. We may not have control on things outside of us, but we can make self-effort to bring changes that start with us, and within us. The topic I will discuss today is the reason for every problem in physical health, and in the world - Stress.
It’s easy to say, ‘One should live without stress’, but is it possible in the present world? The answer is no. However, what we can do is prevent ourselves from the damage we create for ourselves due to stress.
Why are we stressed: A person is stressed mainly due to two reasons; one, when we think the present situation is more powerful than our ability to handle it. And two, when we have expectations of an outcome for a situation and feel that things will not happen the way we want them to.
When a person lives with high expectations and disharmony in relationships, physical changes happen in the body, that the medical world calls ‘Oxidative Stress’. Rather than discussing the scientific side of Oxidation and Oxygenation, it is important to understand how one can prevent oneself from the bad effects of Oxidative stress.
How stress affects your body: As per WHO, depression and mental disorders are the second highest reason for human illness. When a person is stressed, in depression or any form of mental disorder it results in Oxidative stress meaning conditions are created in the body that facilitate the development of cancer, heart problems, nervous disorder, diabetics etc. Any and every illness one can think of starts with the imbalance between Oxidation and Oxygenation in the body.
The solution science has for this is antioxidants; one has to intake antioxidants to prevent themselves from the bad effects of toxins created due to oxidative stress. But this is not the real solution.
The real solution lies within yourself: We do not have control over the toxins created due to stress, however, we do have the power to create the energy that can fight against or eliminate these toxins. The only way to help the body create the energy to fight and eliminate toxins created due to stress and maintain the balance of energy within the body is through meditation and the circulation of energy within the body.
No amount of medicines and antioxidants one takes as supplements can be absorbed by the body without proper circulation of energy in the body. This is where a powerful process like Prana-Vritti helps humanity to rise itself to the next level.
One may or may not have the ability to overcome stress, but sadhanas like Prana-Vritti give immediate energy to eliminate the toxins created due to stress; giving one the assurance that they can live with health and happiness. But this is not magic.
It needs real commitment to oneself to practice. The benefits are incredible because once you possess the energy to fight toxins and eliminate the bad effects of oxidative stress, you keep yourself away from all possible diseases and the possibility of every non-communicable disease including blood pressure, cancer diabetics etc. is totally out of your life.
Self-effort to practice sadhanas blessed by great masters of ancient healing and inner science may not bring changes in personal relationships or financial condition but they give you unstoppable measurable results in your physical body from the moment you put yourself into committed practice.
For this very reason, Patanjali Yogasutra or Vedas insist not on ‘Practice makes you Perfect’ which is a Western philosophy, but on the Eastern it is ‘Practice makes you Progress’.
Self-care is gratitude to the Divine: It’s never too late and never too early to take care of the gift given to you by the Divine which is your body and mind. Scientifically you are doing an exercise to take care of your health, but spiritually when you take care of your health it is showing your respect to God who has given you this life and body.
So, wait no more, life is a one-time gift, gift yourself a new life, a new beginning, full of peace success and happiness. Wishing you a life of Peace, Success and Happiness. Aham Brahmasmi!!
