Watson soaks up the sun in Mexico

The 23-year-old has endured a tough start to 2016 but posted a picture on her Instagram by a pool in Acapulco with the caption ‘going loco’ in reference to the popular 80’s disco hit. Watson is currently without a coach after Judy Murray finished her interim stint in Australia at the first Grand Slam of the season. Having failed to retain her Hobart title last month and fallen to a narrow opening round defeat at the Australian Open to Timea Babos, Watson has fallen to No 83 in the WTA rankings. Two victories followed in the Fed Cup but Watson then lost in a decider to Alison van Uytvanck in the Group I Europe/Africa promotional play-off as Judy Murray’s side fell at the final hurdle against Belgium.
