The Indians tallied seven points each after the 11th and last round in the Chinese city which featured a high-intensity clash between Koneru Humpy and Antaoneta Stefanova of Bulgaria, who both shared the second place after the penultimate round with six points each. Harika, the leader before the last round, played a quiet game against Olga Girya of Russia in the last round and drew in an opposite-coloured bishop ending. That left Humpy with a chance to catch up with her Andhra-statemate. Humpy sacrificed a piece for three pawns from the white side and won in 65 moves against Stefanova.
