Sri Lanka tottered at 37 -3 at lunch but Matthews offered hope of a revival with a knock of 39 before falling to Rabada. Opener Kaushal Silva was trapped leg before wicket by Philander for 16. Earlier, Suranga Lakmal claimed career-best figures of 5-63 to help dismiss South Africa.
