Tamil Nadu enjoyed two easy wins over West Bengal and Maharashtra in the 31st All-India Postal Kabaddi tournament at the Nehru Indoor stadium on Wednesday.

Tamil Nadu dominated from the outset in both its ties and emerged a deserved winner. It defeated West Bengal 34-10 and in the evening session it vanquished Maharashtra 46-7.
Results: Group A: Morning session: Tamil Nadu 34 bt West Bengal 10; Gujarat 26 lost to Maharashtra 37. Group B: Karnataka 39 bt Kerala 15; Punjab 13 lost to Andhra Pradesh 34.
Evening session: Group A: Tamil Nadu 46 bt Maharashtra 7; Uttar Pradesh 32 bt West Bengal 19. Group B: Andhra Pradesh 35 bt Telangana 9; Karnataka 22 bt Telangana 9.
Big TN contingent for Open National Athletic Meet
Tamil Nadu will field a big contingent in the 57th National Open Athletic Championships to be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from September 25 to 28.
