Local League: Rithvik, Pranavi bag double

Sanjeevi partnered S Gupta while Pranavi paired up with Praveena S in the doubles event. The tournament, conducted by HAP Badminton Centre of Excellence, concluded in Thiruthangal on Thursday.

The tournament, which started on October 30, saw the participation of 646 players from Tamil Nadu across different age categories of U-13 and U-15 including both boys and girls. The HAP Badminton Centre of Excellence and Virudunagar District Badminton Association jointly organized the tournament, under the aegis of Tamil Nadu Badminton Association. The winners of the tournament received a cash prize of Rs 50,000 for singles competition and Rs 55,000 for doubles competition respectively.
