Local League: King Pongs crowned inaugural champion of Table Tennis league
Hindustan King Pongs was crowned the champion of the inaugural edition of the Table Tennis Super League- Tamil Nadu after defeating Time Links Mobie Chargers 5-3 at the Forum Vijaya Mall here on Sunday.

The winner took home a cash price of Rs 1,00,00 while the runner-up bagged Rs 50,000. Ashmith K Rajaram in the Cadet Boys category kept the hope of winning the title alive for the Kong Pongs.
Jeppiaar Smashers and Green Rockers lost their play-offs ties respectively to Mobie Chargers and King Pongs respectively in the morning session on the final day of the event.
