After following-on, Chhattisgarh came back strongly in the second innings with Sanidhya Hurkat missing a valiant double hundred by just four runs. The host gained a point after its first innings failure.

Sai Sudharsan helps TN secure lead
Tamil Nadu registered a lead of 25 runs in the first innings against Hyderabad in a Vijay Merchant Trophy (Under-16) South Zone League Round Five match at the Gymkhana Ground in Hyderabad. Resuming on its overnight score of 50 for two, Tamil Nadu added 136 with its remaining eight wickets with B Sai Sudharsan top-scoring with 75 runs. Hyderabad was 135 for four at stumps on Wednesday.
