Shrikrishna in pre-quarterfinals

Shrikrishna won 150-29, 150-58,150-122. The Chennai lad will play B Bhaskar of Karnataka in the pre-quarter-finals on Saturday. The first frame was relatively slow with Shrikrishna grinding his way to a lead of 83-25. 

Then the TN boy recorded a break of 54 to get close to 150. Shrikrishna got into a flow early in the second frame. With good top table performance, he posted his first century break in the National to pocket the frame. The third frame was well contested. Durga Prasad got a lead and looked set to take the frame when Shrikrishna came up with a break of 72.
