Local League: Kamyuth eases past IAF

After being bowled out for 236 in 47 overs, Kamyuth restricted IAF to 160 runs courtesy Godson’s excellent bowling display. In a fifth division ‘B’ game, M Syed Ibrahim snapped up six wickets as Dorairaj Memorial Cricket Club defeated Triplicane Recreation Club by three wickets.

Sethubaskara Matric Higher Secondary School propelled to the final of the JKM Foundation state-level Under-14 tournament by registered a convincing 74-run victory over RYCA Academy.

Ivan Daniel of YMCA survived a scare from Baba of CNC on the first day of the YMCA Madras Open Snooker tournament on Friday. Daniel was in complete control of the initial two frames. Baba, carried his mettle to claim victory in the next two frames, but ran out of steam in the deciding frame and found himself in the lost position in no time.
