Local League: Indian Bank earns convincing win over Customs

Indian Bank’s Kapongo Kung Potient scored a brace and midfielder O Lopcho added two goals of his own to lead Indian Bank to a comprehensive rout of a woeful customs. 

Kapongo Kung opened the scoring for the bank team in just the third minute and barely three minutes later Lopcho scored another to give Indian Bank a two-goal lead. Lopcho scored his second goal in the 36th minute to further deflate the Customs’ morale. 

Indian Bank went into the break with a comfortable 3-0 lead and things went from bad to worse for Customs upon resumption. Kapongo toyed with the Customs defence before scoring his second and the team’s fourth goal in the 65th minute. With only two minutes remaining, Indian Bank’s Pravitto scored his team’s fifth goal.  Later, Income Tax scored two goals in the last 15 minutes to prevail over ICF.
