Samita enters ISA Junior Open final

She won with a scoreline of 5-11 13-11 11-8 11-13 12-10. Despite losing the first set, Samita came back strongly in the second and third, winning it 13-11 and 11-8 respectively. Ananya came back into the contest by winning the fourth but it was Samita who prevailed in the close encounter, clinching the fifth set 12-18. 

Another local lass Abhisheka Shannon defeated Tanishka Jain in straight sets to move into the final in the girls Under-15 category. Abhisheka won it 11-1 11-9 11-7. Aaradhana Kasturiraj fell to Radhika Rathore 14-16, 7-11, 6-11 in the semi-finals of girls Under-19 category.
