Standard Chartered, the official partner of Liverpool FC, on Friday launched a new campaign in celebration of what would have been Bob Paisley's 100th birthday year.
'Project Stand Red' unites the past and present to inspire and educate the next generation of Liverpool fans by celebrating the club's most successful manager of all time.
Standard Chartered have worked closely with Paisley's three children to showcase Bob within the world of Anfield in 2019.
Paisley will once again walk on the Anfield pitch; tell unheard stories alongside one of his most famous signings, Ian Rush; interact with today's first team players and provide a rousing rallying call with current manager, Jurgen Klopp, inspiring fans to 'Stand Red' for the 2019/20 season.
Paisley served as manager of Liverpool from 1974 to 1983, winning an unprecedented twenty trophies in just nine seasons, including three European Cups (today's Champions League) and six First Division (today's English Premier League) titles.
Commemorating 100 years since his birth, the 2019/20 Liverpool home shirt celebrates the life and legacy of the Reds' most successful manager, with each shirt inscribed with Bob Paisley's iconic signature on the inside of the neck.
Graham Paisley, son of Bob, said: "It's been an incredible process to see how this technology works, and also very moving. My grandchildren never got the chance to meet Dad in person, so this is a nice way of showing them who he was and what he meant to people. The whole family is really happy with the result."
Ian Rush, leading goal scorer for Liverpool, said: "Bob Paisley was in my opinion the greatest manager football has ever seen. He made my career and it's an honour to work with Standard Chartered and be a part of bringing him into 2019, just as Liverpool Football Club enters a new golden era."
Emma Sheller, Global Head of Brand and Marketing at Standard Chartered, said: "As a Bank we always have innovation top of mind. This approach extends to our partnership with Liverpool Football Club and Project Stand Red perfectly exemplifies our innovation mindset: by using smart technology to introduce one of Liverpool's most beloved managers to the next generation of fans."
The Project Stand Red films -- a series of five films -- will be released from now onwards till January next year.
