he fourth and final day’s play between Tamil Nadu and Saurashtra in the Col. CK Nayudu Elite B U23 Trophy was washed out due to rain without a ball being bowled in Tirupur on Saturday.

TN received three points by virtue of its first innings lead of 44 runs, while Saurashtra had to settle for one point.

Big lead for Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand took a sizeable lead of 152 runs against Tamil Nadu on the second day of the Cooch Behar Trophy in Salem on Saturday.

Resuming from its overnight score of 93 for one, Uttarakhand reached 239 for eight in 89.3 overs when bad light stopped play. Kamal Singh scored 57 (145b, 8x4) and there were other useful contributions from Gaurav Joshi and Akhil Rawat who made 40 and 39. For TN, B Aaditya scalped four for 74.
