In the second semi-final at the ICL Sankar Nagar Ground on Sunday, Sri Ramakrishna got the better of Plato’s by seven wickets and set up a final date with Lady Andal MHSS (Chennai), which edged Vidya Mandir MHSS (Chennai) by five runs. The two sides will meet on Monday for the coveted title.
Brief scores: Lady Andal MHSS (Chennai) 134 for 7 in 20 overs (K Vaidyanathan 30, R Rishi 40, M Arvindh 28*, R Bharat Srinivas 3/25) beat Vidya Mandir MHSS (Chennai) 129 for 6 in 20 overs (L Ramnath 25, John Tarun George 29, Vishaakh E Menon 21, S Adithya 3/22, AaraveS Ahuja 2/16).
