Badrinath replaces M Venkataramana at the helm. “I am proud to be the head coach of this franchise. It is indeed a privilege to join the side at this juncture. We have a good core group for the upcoming season,” said Badrinath, who had represented Karaikudi Kaalai as a player in the eight-team competition.
TAKE Solutions’ Vice Chairman and Managing Director HR Srinivasan welcomed the Tamil Nadu veteran to the franchise. “We are confident that his strong track record and leadership skills will inspire and motivate Dragons. We look forward to a great season under Badrinath’s stewardship,” said Srinivasan.
Dindigul has retained three players – the maximum number – for the 2020 edition. DD has kept hold of ace off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, R Vivek and M Silambarasan.
