Gokulam Kerala in semis with 5-1 win against Bangalore United

Bangalore needed to win to have any chance of progressing going into the final set of group fixtures, but are now officially out of the running.

Gokulam Kerala continued their formidable form and rubber stamped their place in the Hero Indian Women's League (IWL) semi-finals with a game to spare after overcoming Bangalore United FC 5-1 on Tuesday.

The result also confirms Kenkre FC's progress to the last four, who are now five points clear of Sreebhumi. Bangalore needed to win to have any chance of progressing going into the final set of group fixtures, but are now officially out of the running.

Gokulam Kerala scored 5 through  Kamala Devi striking hat-trick 51' 58' 90+3', Komal Kumari OG 3' and Sabitra Bhandari 46th minute while for Bangalore United the lone scorer was  Satyabati Khadia in the 5th minute.
