TI Cycles’ Vaibhav, Shivam steal the show

Batting first, United Friends posted 286 for seven in its stipulated overs, thanks to fifties from Ch Jitendra Kumar (73) and R Vivek (70). Chasing a little less than run a ball, southpaw Vaibhav and Shivam took the attack to the opposition, guiding their side to a comfortable victory in 48.1 overs. In another match, S Rithik Easwaran (128) struck a ton to guide Sir M Ct M Old Boys Sports Association to a mammoth 204-run win over ICF Sports Association.

B Nishaanth (114 not out) also smashed a century but his effort went in vain as Rising Stars Cricket Club lost to Sical Recreation Club by three wickets.
