Batting first, Aashef and Benjamin were involved in an entertaining 225-run stand for the unbroken opening wicket. While the former’s knock included 12 fours and five sixes, the latter’s innings had 13 fours and three maximums in it. Chasing a mammoth target of 226 in its stipulated 20 overs, Vels Vidhyashram could only muster 106 for eight.
