A deleted tweet from Mumbai Indians stirs match-fixing rumours
Although the tweet was deleted later, fans took the tweet's screenshot and shared it claiming match-fixing in the Indian Premier League 2020.

The social media team of Mumbai Indians on Sunday during the match against Delhi Capitals tweeted, "Delhi Capitals score in the final over to be 163/5 while the game was still in the initial overs, which was coincidentally akin to DC's final score of 162/4.
Although the tweet was deleted later, fans took the tweet's screenshot and shared it claiming match-fixing in the Indian Premier League 2020.
Delhi Capitals batted first and set a target of 163 for the defending champions with the help of Shikhar Dhawan's half century in Abu Dhabi. In the second innings, Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav smashed a fifty each and secured the game for Mumbai Indians.
With the the 13th edition of IPL happening in the midst of an empty stadium, IPL franchises have taken to social media in order to bring the league closer to the fans. Consequently, during Sunday's match, Mumbai Indians tweeted, 'Pattinson is sharing the new ball with Boult! DC-163/5 (19.5)', while the game had only progressed to the 2nd over with just a wicket gone.
This stirred controversy of matching fixing in the IPL 2020 among the fans who took to Twitter to troll Mumbai Indians.
