IPL: MI, RCB eye play-offs spot

Mumbai and Bangalore, who both have 14 points from 11 matches, come into the key fixture after suffering losses against Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) respectively. A win for either side should be enough to take it to the final four.

Rohit’s fitness has become a subject of unwanted attention ahead of the game. Having missed the last two matches due to a hamstring injury, the MI skipper returned to the nets on Monday, a day when he was not named in the India squad for the Australia series. There is still no conclusive update on his fitness from either Mumbai or the BCCI.
