Mumbai to meet UP in Vijay Hazare final

Skipper Prithvi Shaw (165 off 122 balls) played a captain’s knock to power Mumbai to a 72-run win over Karnataka in the Vijay Hazare Trophy semi-finals here on Thursday.

Batting first, Mumbai posted 322 in 49.2 overs, thanks to Shaw’s game-changing innings that included 17 boundaries and seven sixes. 

In the second essay, Mumbai bowled Karnataka out for 250 in 42.4 overs. In the other last-four clash, Uttar Pradesh (188 for 5 in 42.4 overs) got the better of Gujarat (184 all-out in 48.1 overs) by five wickets.
