CHENNAI: Debutant Shivam Singh (202 not out off 302 balls, 17 fours, 1 six) struck an unbeaten double hundred while Robin Bist smashed 171 (229 balls, 11 fours, 6 sixes) as Nelson SC clinched five points from the drawn TNCA First Division match against Madras CC that concluded on Wednesday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium here.

Shivam and Robin accumulated a mammoth 333 runs for the fifth wicket, which helped Nelson take a 134-run first innings lead.

Nelson then reduced MCC to 52 for nine, courtesy of superb spells from DT Chandrasekar (4/25) and Akash Sumra (3/12), but could not complete an innings victory on the third and final day.
