Action soon against Om Sakthi Sekhar: AIADMK

Sekhar extended support to Panneerselvam on Tuesday night itself and left for Chennai on Wednesday. Purushothaman told the newspersons that Sekhar who is not holding any post in the party here has no right to announce support of the local unit to Panneerselvam. He said Jayalalitha safeguarded the AIADMK party founded by late MG Ramachandran and after her demise, Sasikala, the close aid of Jayalalithaa, came forward to rescue the party. She had never asked anyone to make her party General Secretary or the Chief Minister, he added. On the other hand, she accepted the present post following pressure from AIADMK cadre belonging to different states, he said. Now Panneerselvam had fallen prey to the tactics of the enemies  and leveling allegations against Sasikala who is innocent, Purushotaman said.
