Soundarajan joins issue with CM Palanisamy
BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan consoled the family of deceased JNU research scholar Muthukrishnan in Salem on Wednesday evening. Consoling his mother and three sisters over their loss, she assured of being a fourth sister to the family and extend them all possible support.

BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan also condemned Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palanisamy for not meeting the family despite his presence in the city on Tuesday. She made an appeal to the state government to provide government jobs for all the three sisters of Muthukrishnan.
Meanwhile protests were organised by various organisations on Wednesday seeking CBI probe into the death. The CPI state secretary R Mutharasan here on Wednesday demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore to the family of the dalit youth Muthukrishnan.
