Melur couple, Kathiresan and Meetachi, filed a petition in the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court claiming that actor Dhanush was their son and he had walked out of the house while he was studying Class 11.
They had also submitted proof of their claim and had listed some marks on the body of Dhanush to substantiate their claim. However Dhanush had rejected their claims. The previous hearing was conducted as ‘in camera’ proceedings at the chamber of the Judge.
The hearing on Monday was also carried out in the same manner to avoid media glare, since the persons involved in the case was celebrity. During Monday’s hearing a doctors team headed by Madurai Dean, Vairamuthuraja, submitted its report to the court after verifying the claims Madurai couple about the identification marks on the actor’s body.
In their report, the doctors had rejected the claims and mentioned that there was no mole or scar as listed by the Melur couple. The doctors had also claimed that a mole can be removed by laser treatment and plastic surgery, but not the scar, thereby rejecting any possible surgery done on Dhanush. Following the submission of the report the case was adjourned to March 27.
