Former Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary gets new post
Former Chief Secretary P Rama Mohana Rao, who was removed and kept under wait following IT and ED raids at his residence in December 2016, has been given a new post by the Tamil Nadu Government.

He was now posted as Director, Entreprenurship Development Institute in the rank of Additional Chief Secretary, an official release said.
Mr Rao replaces Mr K. Rajaraman who was posted as Land Administration Commissioner.
Mr Rao was rehabilitated by the state government three months after he was removed as Chief Secretary and kept under 'wait list' on December 22, a day after the the raids took place, based on the evidences gathered at the residence of sand mining baron Sekhar Reddy, from whose premises IT department officials seized several crore of rupees, including new currencies post demonetisation.
