Casting political motives to the actions initiated against TTV Dinakaran in EC bribery case, Stalin described it as “selective raids” and “arrests” and wondered why no action was taken against the ministers who were associated with I-T raids in Anbunathan (Karur) and Sekar Reddy cases. On one hand the central agencies are acting swiftly on cases filed against one group of AIADMK leaders, while the same agencies have put the cases against another group of AIADMK leaders in cold storage, the Leader of Opposition charged.

Asserting that the BJP was trying to destabilise the government in Tamil Nadu and indirectly rule the state, Stalin said the backdoor maneuvering of the BJP would not work.
